When do I use comments versus notes on the Schedule?

We suggest using the public notes, private notes, and files to document standard information and processes that relate to that item. Use the comments for conversations and any other ad-hoc notices about those tasks.

For instance, a framing inspection checklist would go in the notes. But use a comment to tell your framer that he passed inspection (even if the jobsite was still messy).

Use the notes for the powder bath faucet measurements. Use a comment to give the plumber a heads-up that the faucet is sitting in the job trailer.
